Setting up Competitor Monitoring

By leveraging this feature, you can meticulously assess your competitors’ follower growth, facilitating insightful comparisons that allow you to fine-tune your strategies accordingly.

Furthermore, the capability to access your competitors’ social media posts provides a clear overview of their promotional activities. By effectively categorizing these posts and analyzing diverse types of content, you can extract valuable insights to inform your decision-making processes and identify the key elements that trigger engagement. This strategic approach empowers you to enhance your own social media tactics for optimum impact.

Get started by following the step-by-step guide below.

1. Open “Insights” from the main menu
2. Navigate to “Competitor Monitoring”
3. Click the “Get started” button
4. Add the name of your competitor.
Obs: If your competitor have alternative spellings we highly recommend adding all the alternative spellings – e.g. Flickr in the Competitor name and “Flicker” in the “Alternative spellings”.
5. Add the facebook and instagram URLs for your competitors.
Quick tip; the easiest way of getting the URLs is to navigate to facebook/instagram and search for your competitor. Once you find their site, copy the URL and paste into this field. Please note that you only need the first part after facebook.com – e.g. https://facebook.com/competitor_name/.
6. Click the “Save” button.
7. If you want to add additional competitors, you can do so by clicking the “+ Add competitor”-button
8. …or navigate to the “Competitors” tab in the sub-menu.
